The city’s bid is called Big City Culture as this reflects Birmingham’s status as a global city with a world class programme of arts and cultural activities, with a local heart, offering these activities to our richly diverse communities.
We became one of only 4 cities in the UK to make the final shortlist and have until 21st May to submit our final application. Until then, there is still time for you to get involved. You can show your support by backing the bid on Facebook, share your cultural news, events and activities with us on Twitter, upload photographs on Flickr or your favourite videos on Vimeo. You can also join Birmingham’s Big Conversation and tell us which of the ideas put forward by the people of Birmingham you would like to see happen in 2013. |
