Nintendo wants to hunt players

26/04/2010 10:28:26

Nintendo's obsession to prove to the world that the wii isn't just a toy has gone so far this spring. Distribution agreements reached with Capcom and Rising Star to sell Monster Hunter Tri and No More Heroes 2 is the clearest example. Nintendo already had all this heterogeneous population and infrequent players that they are now looking for Xbox 360 (with Natal) and PS3 (to Move), but is determined to prove that Wii is a console in a position and not just a 'toy' as stated a little over a month ago by Will Wright, the creator of the Sims.

Monster Hunter Tri is the perfect game for it. It represents the depths of the soul of a player: giant weapons, a world full of monstrous creatures and gameplay innovations that evokes much as another generation games. So perfect was presented Monster Hunter Tri for Nintendo, who have spent the last months to inflate and inflate the comments on its quality, 'hype' in its purest form. Fortunately for Nintendo and Capcom, the game responds to the expectations. Nintendo already has a game for 'hardcore players'.
